The imaging outlined below is due on Wednesday, September 11.
Each team is graded on the quality of their image output. Compose the images according to the effects you are starting to see and the affect the images are producing — reference our studio discussions. Look intensely, think about light, shadow, material texture, space, etc. The images are aesthetic experiences and the quality of your output is a direct reflection of your work.
Test print, adjust color and tonal balance, print again, adjust, print again. Go back into Photoshop, discuss the images with your teammate. Print again. Think about the paper you are printing on very carefully.
- Print all versions of T02 Blow-up (mirrored and regular) images on 8.5×11 (fit-to-page landscape orientation), trim to full-bleed. Use at least three different types of paper (weight, color, texture, etc — there should be a range). Adjust the images according to the criteria described above — don’t print poor quality images.
- Manipulate your first T02 Blow-up Mirrored image — the image shouldn’t be an exact mirror anymore. Think about the composition and alignment (shift center), use the clone stamp, content aware fill, or other imaging techniques. The changes in the image should not be obvious — make us look hard. Print the image on 28×48 paper (consider the range of paper types explored).
